We teamed up with our friends at Evil Twin to brew Trillikini; our first beer available in cans and the ultimate summer crusher perfect for those endless days at the beach or timeless backyard BBQ's. Don't let the low ABV fool you, this hazy blonde IPA is loaded with hop-driven flavors of candied peach, grapefruit and lemon zest complimented by fluffy oats and a rustic graininess. Clean and crisp with firm, thirst-quenching bitterness, Trillikini is destined for your icy cooler.

MALT: American 2-row Barley, C-15, Rolled Oats, Dextrine

HOPS: Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, Columbus

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, fluffy one-finger white head. Light hoppy aroma with some fruity notes. Taste brings some zesty citrus action, held up by a nice bready, biscuit malts body. Light on the palate but full of flavor.

The best, most flavorful and full bodied sub-4% IPA that I've ever had. This is a perfect beer to session into a pool/beach day when you want a hit of something more bigger but need to keep things level. In a blind test I would absolutely guess this was a 6% hazy.

This certainly looks the part of a hazy IPA, with a hazy pineapple colored body propping up an off-white head that is creamy and laces the glass nicely. The nose is dank citrus aromas, with grapefruit rind and lemons most prominent. I am now officially intrigued.

The taste is …… like the beer is being run through a mask. It’s got the grapefruit and lemon flavors and they’re a bit muted and a LOT watery, impacting both the taste and the mouthfeel. My guess is that’s the trade to keep the ABV so low.

I’m glad I tried this, but it definitely pump faked me after drawing a whiff from the can.

Thanks to judkinst for the can while camping up in NH for July 4th weekend! Enjoyed on a public beach on Lake Winnisquam since public sand is hard to come by on Lake Winnipesaukee. Smells, drinks, and goes down like a hoppy Blonde Ale. Fantastic stuff, as expected.
