Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our production crew.
For this edition, we present a complex, nuanced sour wheat ale fermented with our native New England mixed culture and dry hopped with Galaxy. Golden in color, moderate haze, and thick lacing. The aroma is grapefruit and tangerine, as well as an intense floral, almost potpourri, character. Hops are at the forefront, but the lactic acidity and fruity fermentation-driven flavors cut through. A moderately tart, bone dry, and minerally finish make this immensely drinkable!
MALT: American 2-Row Barley, White Wheat Malt, Valley Caramel Wheat, Flaked Oats, Cara-Rye
HOPS: Sterling, Galaxy

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours hazy, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is tangerine, sour mix, and mineral. Medium bodied, medium-high carbonation, and moderately sour..touch of bitterness at the end as well. Makes for an above average sour beer. That said of all the permutation series I have had, this was the least impressive. I found this to be a lot more one note than the other beers in this series. Worth a try, but I do not think I will be getting this one again.

L - dirt yellow milkshake with a finger if white head
S - excellent combo of sour yeast and dank Galaxy. Oranges, lemons, and fresh hops.
T - acidic orange juice, sour bacteria, dank, weed-like hops.
F - mouth-puckering w/o being too sour. The juices from the hops balance out the bacteria strain. Light body.
O - brings together best attributes of wild ales and IPA. Complex and drinkable.
