Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our production crew.
For this edition, we present a complex, nuanced sour wheat ale fermented with our native New England mixed culture and dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin. Golden color with a slight haze and thick lacing. Very complex and intriguing aroma. The white wine character of the Nelson Sauvin hops is amplified and complemented by aromas of sparkling cider, pear, and tart citrus from the base beer. A moderately tart, bone dry, and minerally finish make this immensely drinkable!
MALT: American 2-Row Barley, White Wheat Malt, Valley Caramel Wheat, Flaked Oats, Cara-Rye
HOPS: Sterling, Nelson Sauvin

The beer reinforces my belief that grapes work just as well for a beer as they do wine!
I had this fresh on tap and loved it. A crystal clear and golden sour with a lovely dry grape finish -champagne like. Subtle grape aroma and taste but not at all overpowering or sweet.
