Our very first IPA brewed back in 2013 was eponymously named after the street we called home: Congress Street. Its success inspired an entire series of beers, each of which used the same base recipe featuring a different dry hop presenting a unique flavor with common ties. Naming each one of these beers after separate streets in the Fort Point created a unique bond to the neighborhood we are proud to call home. Even as we grow and explore, the Street Series will always have a special connection to our roots.

The culmination of all our Street beers over the past years, The Streets is a Triple IPA brewed to celebrate our anniversary. Using the same base recipe and bumping the ABV up to 10.6%, we dry hopped with Amarillo, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, Simcoe, Nelson, Vic Secret, & Enigma. Additionally, as a nod to the neighborhood, we also added Citra to the dry hop this year, the signature hop used for our Fort Point Pale Ale

Heavily hazy and orange in appearance, The Street offers a nose rich with aromas of candied peach, tropical fruit, lime zest, pineapple and melon rind. These notes extend right through to the palate with complimentary flavors ripe apricot, orange peel, and white wine. Subtly sweet with a balancing floral bitterness, The Street has a creamy and smooth mouthfeel that rounds out this drinkable Triple IPA.

Had on tap. Looks like orange juice with two fingers of eggshell white foam, sudsy lacing. A cornucopia of fruits on the nose: orange, lime, melon, passionfruit, grapefruit, mango, and pineapple, with floral and more so pine bitters to pair. Taste is more citrus and pine forward, but still fruity overall in complexion, the grapefruit, orange, and passion fruit stick out in the lasting impression with pine. Feel hits you with juicy waves before lightly dank and sharp bitters that are playful. Came out of ipa retirement to try this one, and glad that I did

This starts off just right. A pint can could be completely emptied into a clear glass liter mug comfortably, with much room to spare. Unlike too many modern American IPAs, the pour produced no excessive stark white foam, even at room temperature. Instead, there's a very modest off-white head on top of a fully colored orange-amber liquid. It's opaque, but more bright than dull. The aroma is of sweet grains and some hops that don't seem to be overly fruity, nor overly piney. Some scent of alcohol hits the nose, but the aroma is balanced. To taste, it runs a little sweetly, in a caramel or butterscotch way. But, there's enough balanced hopping to compensate. The mouthfeel is remarkably rich and smooth, this is halfway down the esophagus before the high ABV gets noticed. Yet, the finish is clean and likely abetted by the alcohol, rather dry. Overall, this is one good Imperial New England IPA, almost to the point of being dangerous, even without any glass lacing to stare at.

Poured chilled from a can into a 16oz pint glass.
Appearance is pale gold haze with a 2-finger head that slowly recedes. Good amount of lacing on the glass.
Aroma is citrus and pine, very sweet and hoppy. I'm getting good mandarin orange, pineapple, some grapefruit, definitely passionfruit.
Taste follows the nose with ample passionfruit and citrus. Almost feels like creamy vanilla notes. This is sweet up front with subtle bitterness on the back.
Mouthfeel is medium/full. Creamy and smooth.
Overall this is delicious. Very very enjoyable. One of the better beers I've had. Well done!

Purchased as part of the Trillium 12th Anniversary mini pack! This pours a beautiful hazy orange color with a dense creamy head. Relatively light aroma. Some fruit, some hops but very muted. Orange creamsicle flavor with a pleasant hop bite. Moderate mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Overall, this is one of best I’ve had from Trillium!
