What if we told you we took Hundred Thousand Trillion IPA and double-i-fied it? Like whoa... we've teamed up with Other Half again for the second act of our original Hundred Thousand Trillion IPA.
Two Hundred Thousand Trillion leads with aromas of mango, peach, pineapple, lime, and hints of a delicate floral note. The palate beckons with flavors of ripe honeydew and apricot, finishing with a slight citrus & tropical fruit. Refreshing, subtle fruit flavors from aging on peaches, apricots & guava are balanced by a drying citrus tang.
MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, Dextrine, Flaked Oats, Dextrose
HOPS: Galaxy, Citra, El Dorado, Nelson Sauvin

Can from Jeff, thanks for the opportunity!
Hazy murky lemon yellow color with a frothy off white head that persists. Tropical citrus and melon with bits of bready maltiness to counter.

16oz can dated 3/15/23.
Pours murky gold with an inch-plus head of white. Moderate retention and lacing. Pungently dank and juicy in the nose. Weed, green onions, pineapple, guava. Medium bodied with a soft, slickish mouthfeel. Tropical fruit juice on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Pineapple, guava, peach. Finishes juicy, dank, a bit sweet with a faint tartness.

Traded for this a while ago, as the date on the bottom of the can read 8/4/17 with "LIKE WHOA" written above it. Of course, that's a reference to Other Half and this beer was just as enjoyable as anything I've had from that Brooklyn brewery. Sure, this was old and there was a bit of sediment at the bottom of the liquid but this was quite enjoyable and juicy while being full in body at the same time!
As expected, this poured a hazy and turbid honey with plenty of head to top it of. Very little lacing was left behind as there were just a few scattered splotches here and there on the inside of my pint glass. Tons of overripe stone fruit, white wheat, and citrus juice in the nose as the taste burst forth with those flavors. Orange, kiwi, peaches, and apricots came through along with a dank, overripe tone that had hints of pineapple and mango in it. Full-flavored and full in body, the juice ensured that this would be easy and pleasing on the palate as this was quiet hefty until the last sip...
That wasn't quite true with the alcohol as there was enough here but not to the point where it was overly noticeable. The Nelson Sauvin shone through in the grape and slightly white wine-like aftertaste was was dry once the slickness faded away. Like most Trillium beers, this was quite complex and got better and better once it fully warmed up. Nice job by both parties on this one, as I enjoyed all of the cans that I received in my trade!

16oz can, canned on 8.4.17, poured into a Trillium Congress Street Wilibecher glass. Enjoyed on 8.8.17, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a super hazy and turbid orange color, golden and amber hues with a fizzy white head that has no retention and offers no lace. The aroma is nice, tropical fruits with lots of pineapple, guava and peach with some strong wildflower, grassy and dank hops while there is a lot of sweet yeast and pale grain and light pine. The flavors are fine, very dry and grassy, quite bitter with some brighter fruit forward hops as it warms up showing off some peach and mango but there is a lot of sweet grain and yeast at the finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating and creamy, very full bodied with a light amount of prickly carbonation and a soft finish.
Verdict: A good DIPA from Trillium and Other Half. The fruit adjuncts don't really offer much in this beer that the hop choices wouldn't have already provided. It's a bit drier, heavier and less balanced as a result I think. A nice beer, but not a great beer.
