Paying homage to Fort Point's manufacturing history, Pittsburgh Street IPA is the most recent addition to our Street series of IPA's. Pittsburgh Street is now known as Thomson Place, named after the Thomson Reuters media firm when they bought the Boston Wharf Company brick and beam building. Pittsburgh Street was originally named after the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company.
The signature hop in Pittsburgh is Enigma which drives papaya, cantaloupe, and floral aromas on the nose and are followed by a crisp palate featuring flavors of pineapple and zesty citrus.
MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, Dextrine, Dextrose
HOPS: Enigma, CTZ

16 ounce can packaged 05/24/24.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 7/8 inch white head over a very hazy golden body with lacing.
Nose of tropical fruit and sweet citrus.
Taste mirrors nose somewhat with tangerine and tropical fruit flavors giving way to pineapple from middle to finish.
Very nice near full mouthfeel with nice carbonation.
Overall, this is quite delicious and would have again and recommend.
Cheers!

I find this one inconsistent compared to other offerings in the "Street IPA" series. The four pack I bought was not consistent - one had strong off-flavors and smell despite being relatively young. The one I'm reviewing is enjoyable, with just a bit of overripe mango flavor. I personally prefer other entries in the "Street IPA" series, such as Congress and Sleeper Streets. Melcher DDH is probably my favorite (I'm a big fan of Mosaic).
