Permutation 34 is our take on a Patersbier - a low ABV, drinkable ale originally developed by trappist monks that quenches thirst without inhibiting their ability to brew. However if you don't live in a monastery and brew beer all day long, then Patersbier is great to drink while you tackle that to do list (getting the yard ready for summer, paying bills, polishing your glassware collection, etc).
Presenting a very pale hazy hue, Permutation 34 leads with an enticing nose that conjures banana, citrus, lemon-lime, green tea, and floral bubblegum. A citrus forward palate of lemon and lime is balanced by a crisp biscuity character, medium-light mouthfeel, medium bitterness, and a dry finish. Permutation 34 is great for monks, home brewers, or anyone with a to do list...
ABV: 5.0%
MALT: Pilsner, Flaked Wheat
HOPS: Hallertau Magnum, Spalter, Hallertau Mittelfruh
YEAST: Trappist Ale

Served at teillium tap room in Canton.
Pours an extremely hazy straw yellow body with a big fluffy white head that reduces to very little retention.
Aromas are yeasty, spices, wheaty, malty. Taste is subdued and balanaced fruity yeast, spices, banana, wheat. Easy drinker, medium carb with light body.
Definitely an easy drinker, sessionalable with just enough flavor. Not the usual Trillium, nice change of pace.

Poured from a 32 ounce growler into a pint glass. Filled at the brewery today.
A: Pours a bright hazy yellow, somewhere between a lemonade and white grapefruit juice color. Leaves a thin head of a finger or two that fades quickly to a white rim around the glass. Pretty much opaque.
S: Big straw, lemon, belgian yeast (cloves, banana),
T: That belgian yeast hits first with cloves and banana followed by some lightly tart lime and hay. Slightly bitter finish. Extremely light and drinkable.
M: Light body with a slightly spritzy feel. Great feel for a light, easy drinking beer.
O: This beer is very light and easy drinking, it goes down smooth and quickly. The yeast plays the biggest role in the flavor, without being too in your face. Definitely a great outdoor summer beer.
