Our Fated Farmer Series is a landmark step toward realizing our foundational vision for Trillium: build a place that intuitively celebrates the intersection of New England farming, agriculture, brewing and an integrated community experience. The grist of each of the dynamic Fated Farmer wild ales is set on the structure of Valley Malt and is barrel-fermented in 500L puncheons with our native New England wild culture and aged for 5-7 months, before refermenting on freshly harvested fruit.
Fruit Salad is the blend of all variants in our Fated Farmer Series; nectarine, peach, plum, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, red currant, and Asian pear. It’s appearance is a beautiful magenta with a very slight haze. Sweeping aromas of raspberry, blueberry and blackberry continue seamlessly to the flavor of tart raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, and also carry subtle notes of stone fruit and wood character. It delights the palate with a refreshing light to medium body that will have you dreaming of the summer fruit harvests.
MALT: Valley Pilsner, Valley Wheat
HOPS: Aged Hops

Beautiful pour, lovely smell of fruits, but mother of mothers it was more tart than any of this beer style than I had ever had. AND I like and look forward to trying new wild ales and sours (Wicked Weed anyone even though they sold out). Glad I tri d it for sure as Trillium is an amazing brewery but I would not buy this one again.

Hazy dark ruby red with a fuzzy bright pinkish-white blanket.
This is quite sour. A bit of pineapple accents the cherry and berry melange and some charred oak comes out before the exhale, which brings out some herbal, grassy funk.

Pours red purple no real head. Aroma is nice tart raspberry fruitiness, vinous notes. Taste is nice tart but not over done you can drink this one light tartness not a sipper. Think I could drink a couple of these. Mouthfeel is light crisp light tingling carbonation even though it looks flat. Overall an enjoyable brew.
