Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
Permutation 44 displays a striking orange-straw hue with medium haze. Stone fruit aromatics blend with tropical notes of pineapple, citrus rind, and melon on the nose. A pronounced, pulpy tangelo character presents itself on the palate with supporting flavors of dried apricot, yellow nectarine, and candied lemon underlined by a slight, biscuity malt profile. Full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and smooth, soft finish.
ABV: 6.3%
MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, C-15
HOPS: Galaxy, Columbus

Pours hazy golden. Orange and tangerine on the nose. It's got good creamy galaxy citrus character with only a little bit of the bite that comes from raw vegetal galaxy.

Great color, lovely head. Smells like sweet, creamy Galaxy. Flavor hits the same notes with smooth, fluffy layers of Galaxy; sweet citrus, a little grapefruit, and something I'd describe as a vanilla biscuit/cookie. This beer is a thing of beauty.

Typical hazy Trillium body. A hint more golden in hue. Smell is melon, tropical fruit, and citrus. Tropical fruit forward flavor with passion fruit and mango. Backing bitterness for balance. Little astringent on the finish.

L - goddamn they are really ripping through these things since starting the Permutation series. Can crack revealed the most appetizing head layer I've seen in some time. Juicy and frothy and full. Galaxy-tinted pineapple haze.
S - whiffs of big, earthy, zesty pineapples. Melon rind and candied tangerines. Lightly bready. Creamsicle.
T - tropical smoothie fruit flavors with that classic Trillium candied pith. Tingly pineapple rind and juicy fruit orange meringue. Sweet, honey-like citrus sugar. Leaves a doughy pithiness on the back of the tongue. Tame bitterness and just the right amount of dryness.
F - feels denser than your typical Trill beer, which is saying something considering this is just a mere single IPA! Gently caresses my oral cavity with a fluffiness that is just light enough to keep me coming back.
O - with so many giant DIPAs these days, it can be hard to impress with an IPA. This is a great take on the Galaxy hop.
