The Seesaw Series is our gose playground. Designed to capture delight and fun in the form of an easy-drinking and flavorful beer. Each Seesaw has a unique fruit addition to pair with balanced tartness, a touch of salinity, and ABV on the lower side. The nostalgic thrill of warm-weather fun, reimagined in one of our favorite styles. The number of Seesaws dictates once, twice, or three times the fruit added.
Double Seesaw: Black Currant pours a deep beet red and entices the nose with floral aromas of freshly picked rose hips and black currant compote. Waves of dark fruity jam wash over the palate displaying deep flavors of ripe black currant, earthy dark cherry and sharp raspberry. It offers a medium to full body with a subtle, refreshingly tart finish balanced by a gentle salinity.
ABV: 4.6%
MALT: Pale Malt, White Wheat
HOPS: CTZ

Appearance - Pours deep and dark blood red with a pink, near half finger head that fizzes almost immediately to reveal a flat, barren surface. No lacing, but none expected.
Smell - Sweet and tart dark berry aroma with fair salinity.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tart dark berry and salinity mostly, with lesser sweetness. A hint of earthiness begins to emerge as the brew warms.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a tart, dry fand refreshing finish.
Overall - Simple but effective brew. I don't know difficult it is to brew a fruited gose, but this, and others, makes me not care so much about how or why they're made, only that they are continued to be so.
