Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
For Permutation 73, our Fort Point brewing team combined a characterful Belgian origin yeast strain with the incredible Galaxy and Citra hops for a sturdy expression of a Belgian Strong Ale. Pouring a deep, burnished orange color with faint haze and fluffy white head, Permutation 73 presents a lively nose with aromas of spicy clove, sweet banana bread, and subtle tropical pineapple. A brisk and honeyed crackery malt profile gives way to rounded flavors of stone fruit, pear, soft white pepper and white grape on the palate. Medium bodied with a restrained yet snappy bite of floral hops and a smooth finish that hides its strength, Permutation 73 makes for a complex and enjoyable sip.
MALT: American Two Row, C-15
HOPS: Hallertau Magnum, Galaxy, Citra
