Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
For this draft only batch, we sought to explore the complexities of dark roasted wheat malts. The resulting beer pours a heavy, pitch black with a fluffy khaki-tan head. Luscious overtones of toffee and subtly tart dark fruits create welcoming and excitable aromas on the nose. Notes of pillowy cappuccino, caramel and roasted chestnuts develop on the palate leading into a balancing bitter dark chocolate profile. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, Permutation 76 has a smooth finish with a drying roast.
MALT: Maris Otter, Caramel Wheat, Dark Wheat, Flaked Wheat, Chocolate Wheat, Midnight Wheat
HOPS: Hop Extract
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS: Madagascar Vanilla

This was a growler fill, drank same day it was filled; great aroma but it just doesn’t seem nearly carbonated enough for my liking and it likes any hoppy bite to balance the malt bill

Growler from the source.
Pours opaque dark brown with mahogany edgework. Zero head, retention or lacing. Cocoa, roasted malt, and coffee in the nose. Medium to full bodied with a chewy, tacky mouthfeel. Bakers chocolate with coffee beans and Oreo shells on the palate. Finishes dry with lingering charred malt and cocoa powder.
