Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
Brewed at our Fort Point location, Permutation #77 marks the second entry of our deeper exploration into the unique and innovative hops being cultivated in the Southern Hemisphere. For this batch, we experimented with a Rakau, a New Zealand hop know for its strong and unique fruit-forward aromas and flavors and clean bitterness.
Pouring a hazy golden yellow hue with a white foamy head, Permutation #77’s gives off delightful aromas of fresh squeezed grapefruits, lime peel, and honeydew melon. The palate balances ripe apricot and sweet clementines with a simple yet supportive crackery malt backbone and a subtly spicy bite of blooming conifer. Medium bodied with moderation carbonation, Permutation #77 has a crisp, dry finish.
MALT: Two Row, Flaked Wheat, White Wheat
HOPS: Rakau, CTZ
