The Seesaw Series is our gose playground. Designed to capture delight and fun in the form of an easy-drinking and flavorful beer. Each Seesaw has a unique fruit addition to pair with balanced tartness, a touch of salinity, and ABV on the lower side. The nostalgic thrill of warm-weather fun, reimagined in one of our favorite styles. The number of Seesaws dictates once, twice, or three times the fruit added.

This Double Seesaw variant is generously fruited with sweet and tart cherries and pours an dark maroon red with light haze. Aromas of ripe red currants and raspberries preserves lift to nose and carry through to the palate where they are graced with subtly sweet flavors of stone fruit and cherry pie. Medium-bodied, Double Seesaw: Cherry has a low level of acidity and gentile touch of salinity with a mouthwatering finish.

ABV: 5%

MALT: Pale Malt, White Wheat

HOPS: CTZ

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS: Sweet Cherries and Tart Cherries

16oz can dated 2/13/19.

Pours dark red with a haze and a short-lived head of pink. Zero retention or lacing. Cherries and cranberries in the nose. Light bodied with a thinnish, water, almost flat mouthfeel. Cranberry juice with cherries on the palate. Finishes mildly tart with lingering cranberries and cherry.

Trillium Double Seesaw Cherry, 16 oz can sent from egrandfield. Can date 2/13/19. Served at 50 F
Poured into Sierra Nevada Spiegl Glass.

Kool-Aid red with a bright pink bubble gum head of 4 fingers, receding quickly to 1/2 finger. Sparse lacing up the sides.

Aromas of sour cherry and vinegar, slight mineral, hints of saltine.

Flavor is acidic mineral-y cherry, slight soursop, vinegar, lime, mineral, and more cherry.

Feel is undercarbonated to me, with a slick feel and almost nitro-level creaminess.

Overall, I wasn't overly impressed with this Trillium offering. It's refreshing though, and has a nice acidic tart bite. Recommended if you like Gose and you are near Trillium.

My favorite offering in the Seesaw series thus far. Huge cherry pie filling character in the aromas and flavors, with a nice clean and refreshing mouthfeel. Although still a bit sour for a gose, the sourness works here more than it did in the previous variants

L: Pours a lovely ruby red, deep blood red in the glass, with rose pink head.

S: Sweet and tangy, lots of cherries and notes of other berries

T: Not as sweet as the nose led me to believe. Less tart than I had expected as well. Cherries, with the barest hint of salt. More mellow on the finish than I'm used to from Seesaws.

F: Nice carbonation. Almost a little oily.

O: Pretty good, but not my favorite Seesaw.
