Crown & Crate brings together raw wildflower honey straight from Massachusetts hives, along with lactose sugar to create a unique and luxurious double IPA. The energy of buzzing hives is channeled in the radiant glow of this beer and the nuanced sweetness that dots its tropical flavor palate. The royal queen bees and the milk crates that give this beer its name both foreshadow delicious ingredients, and Crown and Crate is the perfect beer to kick off a bright and exciting spring.
Pouring a heavy, milky haze of deep blonde straw, Crown and Crate announces itself with dank and enticing aromatics of tropical fruit and honeysuckle that leap out of the glass. The palate opens with a wash of sweet summer berry flavors as notes of ripe cantaloupe, mango smoothies, pineapple sorbet and juicy apricot build in intensity. Medium bodied with a luscious mouthfeel accentuated by a creamy sweetness, Crown & Crate finishes clean with a pleasant bitterness calling to mind orange and grapefruit pith.
MALT: American Two Row Barley, White Wheat, Flaked Wheat, Dextrose
HOPS: Mosaic, Galaxy
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS: Raw Wildflower Honey, Lactose

Appearance of thick cloudy golden yellow with a fairly quickly dissipating white fluffy head. Medium lacing and thin cap
Aroma of apricot and stone fruits. Floral berry notes and citrus
Taste is fruity, starts sweet berry and tropical and finishes up slightly bitter citrus rind
Mouthfeel is very syrupy, medium carbonated and layered, smoothie like. Ends dryer but not overly bitter.
Over all the balance between sweet and bitter is nice. Well balanced and definitely a juice bomb.

Strong, sweet and bitter, Trillium looks to the spring season and the return of a certain buzz about the warmer weather. Soaked in honey, their imperial hazy IPA drenches the palate in seeming hop nectar.
Pale and pastel gold, Crown and Crate casts an dense ivory froth above its milky body. While a radiant perfume of fresh tropical, citrus and melon fruitness comes with a rich and floral wildflower fragrance, a curiously botanical character brings hints of citronella and patchouli. Succulent sweetness coats the tongue with honey in a near achingly sweet upstart on the early palate.
Hop fruitiness rises on the middle palate to form a fruit cocktail of tangerine, pink grapefruit and hints of lemon along with more tropical flavors of pineapple, papaya and younger mangoes. All wrapped in a cocoon of cantaloupe and the fruit medley is complete. As the creamy sweet foundation continues its malty and honey-driven support, the late taste turns herbal, botanical and downright dank with fresh grass clippings, cannabis and cedar with a lemon tea closure to the session.
Full bodied, creamy and plush from start to finish, the fruit and field beer finishes on the sweeter side of bittersweet with an extension of grassy hops and fruit rinds to remind us that there's indeed a beer buried underneath all the nectar.

Hazy pale orange body, white head, quick fade, minimal lacing. Smell is strong fruit, with pineapple and resin, citrus and stone fruit. Soft and broad feel, the taste introduces subtle sweetness to more tart citrus, grapefruit and peach. Delicious and satisfying.
