Brewed at our Fort Point location, Permutation 6.09 marks another entry of our deeper exploration into the unique and innovative hops being cultivated in the Southern Hemisphere. For this batch, we focused on New Zealand origin Rakau from Freestyle Farms, extensively dry hopping the beer to the level of our Double Dry Hopped IPAs and Pale Ales to examine the full depth of this hop's distinctive aromatics and nuanced flavors.

Pouring a golden yellow straw color with heavy, milky haze, Permutation 6.09 greets the nose with aromatic layers of sweet meyer lemon, orange zest, mixed berry bubblegum and freshly clipped grass. On the palate, notes of ripe strawberries and pineapple meld together creating a tropical cocktail underpinned by flavors of fresh melon and plum. With a delicate biscuit malt character and rounded floral bitterness providing balance, Permutation 6.09 has a medium body, pillowy mouthfeel and smooth finish.
