Part of Omnipollo’s biggest collaborative event Omnipolloscope, a synchronized global release two year in the making, collab with Omnipollo, Monkish, Other Half, Crooked Stave, O/O , Stigbergets, Anchorage, Equilibrium and The Veil. Omnipolloscope #5 is our iteration of a soft and smooth Triple IPA featuring heavy doses of Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, and Nelson Sauvin. Pouring a light orange-yellow color with a heavy milky haze, Omnipolloscope #5 greets the nose with strong aromas of dank, fresh cut grass and layers of bright tropical fruits. Dazzling flavors of pineapple and mango smoothies follow, inundating the palate and swirling together with hints of candied orange, grapefruit pith and sweet vanilla. Full bodied with a pillowy mouthfeel, Omnipolloscope #5 has firm bite that makes for a long and enjoyable finish.

No doubt that this might have been one of most unique beers that I've ever reviewed on here. 9 brewers were listed on here and I saw 11 on the can so it was readily apparent that this wasn't like anything that I ever had before. So much going on here from so many brewers but somehow, this ended up working out in the end as it was a damn fine brew that was fully, tasty, and nicely crafted from the get-go down to the last drop!
Whose beer was this? It was listed as Trillium's on here but should been Omnipollo based on what I read on here and how it looked when I poured it out. Turbid and milky with an apricot hue, this was almost like a milkshake beer because of how soft and sweet it looked and felt upon my initial taste. Enough fluffy head topped it off as most of the lacing was concentrated in a thick and soapy ring near the top of my pint glass. Tons of grass, deep citrus, earthy funk, melon, dank tropical fruits, and pineapple in the nose as the taste was just as juicy, heavy, and muddled on the palate. So much going on here with hints of deep cream and heavy floral notes lingering from the first sip to the aftertaste. Orange blossom notes and tangerine cream kept this from feeling too heavy as a dry lime tang and chalky residue lingered in the aftertaste, once the liquid fully went down.
Plenty of booze in this as the heft was apparent from the beginning and never quite pulled back. Canned on 6/27/19 with "ALL EVERYONE" written underneath it, it was hard to discern what each brewer's input in this was but the end result was a nicely complex beer that just might have been greater than the sum of it's collaborative parts. Full of stone fruit, turbid pith, and tropical stickiness, this wasn't like anything I had before but ended up being so unique that I had to give it it's props on here. Creamy, deep, and fruity, this was a beer that deserved a wide audience based on how special it's nature was. Nice job all-around, by everyone involved!

Dated 6/28/19 on the bottom, two months since canning.
Pours a hazy, nearly opaque pale gold with two fingers of puffy white head, although dissipating rather quickly. Nose of pineapple, ruby grapefruit rind, oats, mango, dank earth, slight resin, orange preserves and passion fruit. Wonderful aroma but not bursting out of the can. Taste brings a heavy sweetness and some vanilla to the notes of the nose, making them seem like those "yogurt" candy coated fruits you can find occasionally. Medium++ body, heavy sweetness, light+ bittering, low carbonation and lots of lingers flavors on the palette. If your looking for a really sweet candied fruit IPA this one is for you; especially if you love yogurt covered raisins, but in tropical form.

Dark orange; dirty and hazy looking; fair head, one-finger thick. Smells like old citrus and pineapple juice; faint note of malt. Pungent and spicy flavor; boozy; fairly intense hop bitterness; a bit on the sweet side of things. Heavy body; mildly abrasive; bold presence of alcohol heat and dryness; residual sugar feel.
I love a good triple IPA and a lot of good breweries collaborated on this one. My sample was canned 07/16/19, so is only about a month old, yet it seems kind of haphazardly created and doesn't have any refined distinction to it. This may be an instance of too many cooks...

this should probably be listed under omnipollo, as its their project, and i have no knowledge that this was actually brewed at trillium or anything, but i was reluctant to double list the same beer on their page, so i will simple review it here, and note that this is an omnipollo endeavor. if all the breweries made this individually, someone let me know, but i dont think that is the case. for all the epic breweries involved in this one, some of the hottest in the game, this beer should be way better than it is, but that was almost always going to be the case, how could so many minds come together and make something together that lives up to what they do on their own, this might be one of those too many cooks in the kitchen deals. the thing is though, the beer is kind of basic and boring, its just big. sure the hops are tasty and the beer is well made and all, but another citra and mosaic big hazy ipa? nothing real original there, and as much as i love the galaxy and nelson thats in here too, its not enough to make this a distinct beer in any meaningful way. i wish they got more ambitious with this, and im sure im not the only one. that said, the beer is fine, but one to share for sure. the alcohol is hot, the bitterness is curiously strong for a hazy like this, and the density is enormous, this really is one of the bigger burlier hazy types ive had, maybe that was their goal. the hops are familiar, the grain is earthy, raw, starchy, and dry, and there is a definite green hoppy bite running through most of it, not just in the finish. its got some tropical character, some pine, and a lot of booziness, an almost gin element in that way, hot and botanical driven. its fine beer overall, but in the end, i think i wanted a lot more out of it, and so did the others i had this with. the beer just doesnt live up to what i know about these breweries individually, not sure anything really could have, but i guess its cool to have them all on the same can...
