Can't remember how I obtained this as I had two cans of this with two different colored labels. Loved how this was a collaboration between two top-notch brewers with a top-notch result that was fun and super easy to drink. Certainly an imperial beer this was a lot to like here as it took a full warming up for me to appreciate this!
This had a typical pour for either brewery to it with nice and soft deep peachy hue to it that was uniform in color and somewhat bright. Enough head topped it off but the lacing left behind was very spotty with only a few thin rings remaining that were faintly visible. Tons of bright mango, floral citrus, and passion fruit were in the nose as the taste was much more bright, juicy, and fresh than I anticipated! Well-balanced because of the oats, there was a good amount of sweet stone fruit and candied peach that took this to the next level as a bit of orange blossom kicked in before I quickly finished this off!
Yeah, this was strong stuff but the amount of alcohol present was on par with the amount of flavor and body that made this a force to be reckoned with. Canned on 7/29/19, this held up well over the last eight months and looked and felt every bit as good as a new brew. More carbonation and less of a syrupy heaviness would have made this an all-time great but as it was, this was as solid beer that was worth getting a hold of!

L: Pours pulpy hazy orange yellow. Completely opaque with zero transparency. Less than a finger of head and minimal lacing.
S: Juice bomb with a pronounced sweetness. Orange, pineapple and mango all dominate the nose with a yeasty undertones. Smells sweet and juicy with a honey/floral property in the background.
T: Great, stonefruit juice bomb. Peach and apricot dominate the flavor, followed by grapefruit and pineapple. Crackery yeast flavor lays the foundation, seemingly buffering the rather sweet fruity flavor. Finish is sweet and lingers in after taste along with lemon and stonefruit elements.
F: Medium in body and in weight. Soft, smooth and creamy. Amazing feel for abv, which is hidden rather well. As it warms, the booze really shines more, but it is exceptional still.
O: For the age, it has held up exceptionally well. I am really enjoying the beer, though it is slighly sweet (but it isn't a hindrance). I am really enjoying it, and I am very grateful to try. Cheers!
