For this draft only collaboration, our team at Fort Point teamed up with Yakima Chief Hops to utilize a new experimental hop variety, HBC 630. In the fields, these hop provide distinctive and unique aromas of sweet berry and candied fruit. Using a simple grist, we first whirlpooled the beer with Simcoe before heavily dry hopping with these special HBC 630 hops. The end result pours a light orange color with moderate haze delivering a pungent and fruity nose that entices the palate and engages the senses. The palate opens with flavors of ripe mango and juicy pineapple leading to pleasant tones of stone fruit, bright citrus, and subtle berry. A simple grist of pale and flaked malts provides a gentle sweetness and pillowy soft mouthfeel that allow the hops to take centerstage. Medium bodied with a balancing bitterness, Twin Bines has a mouthwatering finish that draws you back for sip after sip to explore its nuances. A portion of proceed will be donated to the Hop Research Council.

L - Mostly hazy, not a milkshake body, orange color, two fingers of white head
S - Tons of melon and berry. Some grapefruit and dank hops
T - Same as the nose, but has some added pine and earthy notes
F - Smooth, no booze
O - Reminiscent if Treehouse IPA's with the huge aroma and taste of melon.
