Under the festival tents in Munich, you'll find thousands of Maß full of brilliantly clear, golden lager. Wiesnbier, the traditional Festbier of Oktoberfest, is beautiful in its simplicity. For our take on the style, we utilized primarily German pilsner malt and paired it with noble Spalter hops to achieve notes of rich grain, bread dough, and a touch of lemon. Subtly sweet on the palate, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel, this is a lager built for enjoying by the mug. Trillium was founded in community experiences. What better way to bring people together than with an event like Oktoberfest and a liter of crisp Wiesnbier?

Had this on 2019-10-11 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 16oz canned on 2019-09-20
A - Clear gold with a 2-finger puffy white head and nice lace
S - Baking bread, honey, white grape, floral. Smells great
T - Lightly toasted, crusty bread with a dab of lemon preserves. Grassy and herbal spice. Just the right amount of balancing bitterness to compliment the mild residual sweetness.
M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Crisp and refreshing.
O - This is a very fine Oktoberfest beer that I'd be glad to have year-round. Really enjoyed it.

At the Greenway Garden. A proper festbier! Tasty malt, sweet yet bready, and a pleasantly hopped finish. Well-crafted as expected. Wish I could have a full liter!

Poured into .5L Oktoberfest style mug. Nice golden colour with frothy 3 finger head. Has a little bit of a different smell than most Marzens/Oktoberfests, something earthy and grassy and a little funky (not bad, just not expected) along with the normal malty character. Tastes above average for the style, nice malt character with a little grainy sweetness and a little bit of a hop buzz at the end. Very nice velvety mouthfeel. SO drinkable!

First tapped at 12:55 from an oak barrel; tasted at 1:05 at the Trillium Octoberfest. The owner of Trillium himself was doing the pouring.
Light amber color with the lightest of hazes. Served in liter Oktoberfest glass, the head started off with three fingers but settles to rim bubbles. Very little lace.
Smooth aroma of toasted Vienna malt and possibly some Crystal malt. No notable hop.
The taste is rich with graham cracker flavors. I pick up white bread toast, a touch of almond, and even lighter hop notes. The body is solid with a lower carbonation level. Overall, an excellent entry into the style.
