We brew Deciduous to welcome the return of Autumn and to celebrate New England's changing foliage. Inspired by the dynamic New England climate, we recalibrate and evolve our recipe annually to produce a new iteration each Fall. Deciduous 2019 is a Double IPA brewed with crisp evenings huddled around a warm fire on the mind. A huge flaked oat addition contributes to a lusciously soft and chewy mouthfeel. Formidable dry-hop charges of Galaxy and Simcoe send waves of candied pineapple, mango nectar, and playful citrus notes across the palate. Satisfyingly full-bodied while retaining an airy mouthfeel, we hope you enjoy Deciduous will all of the joys that Autumn has to offer.

The pour was smooth. The color amber yellow. Smell not really there when initially poured into an open Belgium beer glass. The first sip also very tight in taste with a bit of bite. Good but not great. Then I left it to sit for 5-10 minutes. Look out below because here came the real beer. Smell was honey like with a hint of fall ripeness. The beer lost its sharp taste to the mouth and was enjoyable to slowly sip the flavors which were developing with every additional sip. Only thing I would do differently is wait 5-10 minutes before opening this beer and let it warm to around 60 deg. Tasty.
