Initiated by our friends at Other Half Brewing with the help of Stout Collective and Craftpeak, All Together is a worldwide collaboration brewed to recognize the impact of COVID-19 on those in the restaurant and hospitality industries. Trillium, like millions of other breweries and restaurants, is rooted in the core of hospitality. For our team, hospitality is more than entertainment - it’s a passion for identifying and satisfying a need, in the service of others.

In one of our country’s hardest-hit cities during this pandemic, COVID-19 has affected us all but has been exceptionally difficult for those without a home to safely shelter within. Our friends at Winter Walk Boston are working today to address that issue, providing PPE, food, access to medical care, and a safe place to stay for Boston's homeless community. Their work is impactful and urgent and we are thankful to be able to help them, with your support. $2 from every 4-Pack sold of All Together will be donated directly to Winter Walk.

MALT: American 2-row Barley, Valley Pilsner, Valley Wheat, Marris Otter, Valley Rye, Malted Oats, Carapils

Tasty, but not as much so when competing with Trillium IPAs and DDHs. Still, I'll drink it anytime over beers from most other breweries.

L - pours a muted, hazy orange with a splash of yellow. Big, bubbly head that quickly dissipates before my eyes, like the beer is exhaling.

S - potent aromatics from across the room. Floral hops and lemon drops. Green melon and herbal freshness. Papaya and a hint of white grape.

T - more zesty papaya with sweet apricot. Teeth-chattering bitterness with a huge burst of grassy hops. Lemon pith and a touch of grainy zip. Ultra dry with pine and citrus peel on the finish.

F - light up front, then thickens in the middle, leaving an oily, mealy residue behind. Feels chock-full of hops. Carbonation ramps up a bit toward the end to jive with the bitterness.

O - a solid "Trillium" IPA. Typical stuff. Some minor OH influence, particularly with the limey citrus. Potent and bitter. Drinkable.

Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at Trillium Brewing Company, Boston, MA
05/19/20
Served in a tulip

Hazy, dull straw yellow appearance. The body was topped by a fluffy, finger-tall, bright white crown that fell to a thin collar. Patchy lacing stuck along the glass.

Very solid aroma. Quite fruity and very hop forward. Citrus notes were most apparent. Juicy orange and tangerine specifically. Moderate amount of dankness too. Ripe honeydew melon was noticeable as well. The honeydew intensified as the beer warmed. Touch of mango.

The flavor profile was drastically different from the nose. Super pithy, resiny and bitter with hardly any sweetness or malt presence. Citrus notes were apparent here again, but they were more tart and rind-like. Kumquats came to mind. Some orange peel too. Hint of mango. Big tart lemon and cracked wheat presence in the center. More tart, bitter, citrus and citrus rind notes on the back end and the finish.

Medium bodied mouthfeel. The liquid contained a larger bubbled, somewhat prickly effervescence that turned light and fluffy on the palate. Later, the carbonation settled and the beer turned slick and smooth.

With all due respect to the concept behind this beer and the fact that the recipe comes from another brewery (Other Half), this is possibly Trillium’s most disappointing hoppy beer to date. While the aroma was solid, the flavor profile was incredibly bitter and almost a bit astringent. The silver lining is that at least some of the money I spent on this went to a good cause.

Cloudy; light, white-hued amber color. Above-average head which settles to a thin layer of bubbles. Minimal spots for lace.

Plenty of grapefruit and other tropical aromas. A touch of pine resin along with some fresh-mowed dandelions. A bit of everything hops in the smell.

Very dry malt base. While the bittering hop is the lead, the tight body and the complete lack of sugars make this beer nearly astringent. Lowly carbonated. The hop isn't nearly as complex as the smell with black pepper (with a touch of spicy heat) flavoring in the swallow and relatively short aftertaste.
