Even the truest of New Englander's, hardened by lengthy Northeast winters, deserve a vacation. As temperatures rise and the long-awaited promise of Summer arrives, we'd typically be fleeing to The Cape, Coastal Maine, or the lakes of the White Mountains. This year, we'll be staycationing, but we've brewed a new take on our New Englander series so tropical in its approach, it'll take your mind to the beach.

L -- Hazy orange with two fingers of solid white head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and lacing
S -- Coconut, lemongrass, sweet basil, vanilla, lime zest, floral, orange cream
T -- Like the other True New Englander variants, Trillium does sabro very well, perhaps only second to Galaxy. It is such a unique and refreshing hop varietal, and really does share a lot of characteristics with a pina colada
F -- Medium mouthfeel, medium carb. Super refreshing, sabro is great at all times of year
85/100

From Trillium’s website: “ Pouring a gently hazy honey-yellow color, New Englander's Staycation utilizes the incredibly unique Sabro hop to put forth aromas indistinguishable from a frozen piña colada. Notes of pineapple nectar, coconut milk, key lime juice, and gentle cedar dance atop the palate. Tropical fruit cocktail tones are even more apparent on the palate, with lychee, dried mango, and dense papaya all making an appearance. Pillowy soft, with a complexity that develops as you make your way through each pour, New Englander's Staycation is a vibrant addition to our lineup of IPAs.“
