Beginning at Milton Lower Mills and spanning all the way to the Fort Point Channel, Dorchester Avenue dates back to 1805 and is rich with history. It's also the namesake of our Nelson Sauvin dry-hopped addition to the Avenue Series. Presenting a glowing deep yellow, Dot Ave offers an aroma with layers of depth and nuance. Immediately apparent is the tropical shade of the Nelson variety, with notes of mango and pineapple jumping from the glass. As the beer warms, underlying notes of concord grape, lemon verbena, and earthy pine make an appearance. Soft, palate-coating, and highly drinkable, Dot Ave finishes balanced and evolves throughout each sip.

Pours hazy yellow-orange with a finger of white head.

The nose and taste are mango and other tropical fruits. A smooth Nelson bomb. Low sweetness and booze. Medium+ mouthfeel. Overall, excellent.

Can date smudged
Pours a light whispy head with lower retention, decent soapy lacing, cloudy opaque tangerine color

Nose dank tropical notes, citrus, generic tropical, pine, resin, hint of doughy malt

Taste brings more of the tropical fruits, generic citrusy tropical and dank tropical, orange, tangerine, a bit musty resinous, some earthy musty grape skin, mild green spicy hop, light doughy malt, a bit of flaked protein and chalky note, a touch of alcohol spice,

Mouth is med to fuller bod, med fizzy slight prickly carb, a bit of warming alcohol

Overall not bad, Nelson didn't come through as much as I expected as it was more overwhelming dry hop characters. Maybe it's the lack of desired hop supply, or cutting corners, but their DIPAs and IPAs are not nearly as good as they were years ago

Okay, okay. I’m hyper critical of trillium for several reasons, none very reasonable. For example, Fort Point, even the ddh, is annoying and boring and aggravating to me. This beer cuts through all that.

It’s original, brilliant, masterful, and finessed. I really want to hand it to Trillium. Their tasting notes are spot on. There’s a lot of dried apricot everywhere that kind of dominates and annoys but otherwise this is a pretty special and unique and delicious dipa.

Pours a very hazy pineapple color with a fluffy white head that provides ropes of lacing. Gorgeous hazy.

The nose has lots of mango, pineapple, white grape, and lemon, which is precisely where the taste lands. Absolutely delicious.

The mouthfeel is soft and pillowy, on point for the style. Am excellent hazy.

Had on tap at Canton. Pours milky hazy gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is big coconut, orange juice and mango. Moderate body and carbonation, slightly bitter. Very good but not excellent neipa. I prefer others from Trillium but this is good.

Pours a hazy orange with a 3+F head and light lacing.

Smells of grassy floral hops and citrus.

Tastes of slightly tart grapefruit, pineapple and cantaloupe with a slightly bitter finish.

Medium body with light carbonation. Lush, oat smooth mouthfeel

Delicious!
