Presenting a sunny light orange color with moderate haze, Daily Serving: Mango & Pineapple is relentless in its tropical approach. Mouth-watering aromas of dried mango peel, overripe pineapple, and lychee gummies are apparent as soon as the can is cracked. Medium-bodied, with balanced sweetness, this rendition of Daily Serving conjures beachside memories with each sip.

Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at Trillium Brewing Company, Boston, MA
03/15/21
Served in a tulip

Hazy, yellow ochre appearance. The liquid was topped by a frothy, finger-tall, bright white crown that quickly dissolved. There was no lacing whatsoever.

Fantastic aroma. Tropical fruits came through strong. Juicy mango notes were most apparent. Really sugary and sweet. Some mango skin too. Nice fresh cut pineapple presence as well. Apricot was also noticeable. Bit of tart wheatiness.

The flavor profile was also impressive though somewhat less so than the nose. Nice melding of sweet and tart. Pineapple was noticeable up front and was quickly followed by ripe mango notes. Lots of tart lemon and wheatiness in the center. Bit of a peach or apricot too. More lemon and sweet, juicy mango on the back end and the finish.

Terrific fluffy mouthfeel. Medium bodied for the style. The liquid contained a super fine, moderate effervescence that worked nicely for the style.

Daily Serving - Mango & Pineapple as is another solid variant in Trillium’s Daily Serving series, though not one of my favorite releases to date. Even with only two fruit additions, the flavor seemed somewhat muddled and lacked a bit of “pop.”

16 oz can dated 03/15/21

Pours cloudy orange yellow gold with a substantial creamy white foam head that sticks around with decent lacing and retention. Smells like fresh sticky ripe mango juice, lightly tart pineapple chunks, hint of lemon acidity, juicy and fruity with a hint of creamy wheat underneath. Tastes like fresh tart pineapple slices, ripe mango juice, hint of gummy candy, big creamy wheat in the aftertaste, crackery bready malts, very mild hop presence, tasty, crushable, fruity. Feels medium-fuller bodied, thick and creamy with smooth moderate low carbonation. Overall a really great fruited Berliner Weisse style with mango and pineapple.
