Established two centuries after the Common, Boston's Public Garden became the first public botanical garden in America in 1837. Located in the heart of our city, it's a key piece of the Emerald Necklace and features many of Boston's iconic sights such as the Swan Boats and the Make Way for Ducklings statues.

Presenting a sunny, honey-yellow color, Public Garden utilizes Mosaic and Strata to conjure a fairly complex bouquet of aromas. Tropical notes of candied pineapple and juicy mango lead the way, with underlying tones ranging from bright citrus, canned peach, cantaloupe, and a soft, woody earthiness adding intrigue to each sip. Dry and gently bitter, Public Garden finishes medium-bodied and easy-drinking.

Pours a hazy light orange with a 1F head and light lacing.

Smells of very piney hops along with citrus and melon.

Tastes of resinous hops, tart grapefruit, orange, pineapple, mango and cantaloup with a tart, lightly bitter finish.

Medium light body and carbonation. Crisp dry, mouthfeel.

This is an unusual and complex brew where the tart and bitter bits predominate but don't overwhelm the sweet bits. My glass full was quite cold, i am sure that it would be more
juicy if warmer. Very tasty, but not your typical NEIPA.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and

S: Herbal, grassy, slightly dank, pine, some zesty citrus, a bit of underripe tropical and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.

T: Slightly dank grassy herbal pine, citrus, lime, grapefruit, and lemon, tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, strawberry, apricot, mango, peach, and a touch of melon, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.

M: A touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly chewy.

O: First few sips are definitely more piney, citrus, and resinous, the fruity side definitely comes out more as it warms, but never fully takes over. Would make a appropriately nice outdoor sipper.
