The bigger sibling to Trailside IPA, Eliot Tower pours a soft, light orange with a glowing haze. Juicy, tropical fruit greets the nose up front, leading with aromas of sticky mango, pineapple sorbet, and lychee. Citrus and stone fruit play supporting roles, offering up notes of ripe peach, apricot candy, and grapefruit zest. Medium-bodied, with a palate-coating soft approach, Eliot Tower finishes dry, with a tame, gentle bitterness.

Pours a frothy 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, hazy cloudy deep orange color
Nose brings a ton of citrus, orange juice, tangerine, grapefruit, into some tropical mango, some sweet doughy malt, pith
Taste has a bit more tropical fruit up front, pineapple, mango rind, grapefruit pith, orange juice, tangerine, mango sorbet especially as it warms, a bit of cantaloupe, creamy doughy base malt, soft juicy creamy, no extra water softening minerals, mild bitterness, a touch of smooth alcohol late, dryish finish with a touch of a spicy green hop note but mostly settled out
Mouth is med bod, soft juicy, med carb, a touch of warming alcohol
Overall quite nice, well balanced with lots of citrus and tropical fruits, no leftover chalky minerals, only a touch of green spicy hop late but not much there, enjoyable beer like old school Trillium

Pours ,a milky orange with a 1F head and moderate lacing.
Smells of piney, and grassy hops with slightly dank sweet fruit and citrus.
Tastes of lightly tart grapefruit, resinous hops, tangy wheat, pineapple and honeydew with a lightly bitter finish.
Medium body with light prickly carbonation. Smooth , dry mouthfeel.
This brew is balanced toward the tangy / bitter bits but the juicy ones do come through nicely. Very tasty for me.

Aroma is fruit/floral/slightly funky hops and a hint of bitter citrus. The flavor is fruit, slightly earthy malts and a dryish/spicy hop/mild bitter citrus finish.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium to pale yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, and melon underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavors follow with stone fruit, apricot, some grapefruit, mango, and melon underneath. A stone fruit and pine bite off the end. Somewhat bitter. (4.00)
Feel: Medium body, strong, carbonation, mildly sweet and moderately bitter. (4.00)
Compared to Phase Three Rule Of Thirds 9/25: Pours similar, milder aromas. More apricot, stonefruit, grapefruit, and pine. Less tropical berries and grape. More of a bite.
Compared to Phase Three Public Garden 9/25: Less orange citrus, lime, flower. More tropical stonefruit and apricot bite. Heavier.
to Toppling Goliath King Sue 9/25: Pours darker, similar aromas. More stonefruit and mango. Less bright orange citrus. Winner: Toppling Goliath
Overall: First try at this and only my second try at Trillium. A double version of their Trailside IPA, which has Citra and Strata, so I'm assuming the same here. Beautiful pour. Some distinct apricot and stonefruit flavor but also a recognizable grapefruit too. Even has a bite off the end. (Rating: 4.00)
