Our second Freaky Friday release with our good friends from Other Half Brewing is our take on one of their first-ever beers. Drenched with all sorts of Citra and Amarillo, HDHC Hop Showers is a full-on hop inundation.
HDHC Hop Showers pours a beautifully hazy, golden yellow color. Its aroma immediately dominates the room, with super-saturated notes of citrus fruit salad, ripe pineapple chunks, and candied grapefruit. Despite the ridiculous hopping rate, it's incredibly easy-drinking, offering a soft mouthfeel and gently bitter finish that invites the next sip. This beer is a true delight for any hop head.

Pours as close to yellow as I’ve seen in a beer, almost turbid in appearance, with a sudsy off-white head that disappears in seconds.
The nose is crammed with dank grapefruit and pineapple aromas, and those notes translate perfectly to the taste, but there’s a bit of hop burn.
The mouthfeel is on the softer side, per the style. I’m really enjoying this, just wish that hop burn wasn’t present at the back of the palate.

Milky daffodil yellow. Nose is dripping grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is extremely grapefruit forward, with some peachy and pineapple-y notes, too. Lingering mouth-scraping bitter finish. Nicely coating mouthfeel. Underrated, IMO. This is a well-executed Freaky Friday swap between two stalwarts.

This is everything people are looking for in NE ipas. Pours a vibrant yellow color, decent head. Aroma is overwhelming of floral notes without associated grassy overtones. Body is good with excellent flavor. Very minimal hop burn. Excellent collab here
