Blue Hill Ave pours a warm, golden yellow with a moderate soft haze. A mouthwatering swell of citrus dominates the aroma upfront, washing over the palate with notes of tangelo juice, sugar-dusted grapefruit slices, and lemon zest. As the glass opens, Simcoe shows its complexity, conjuring supporting notes of preserved peach, fresh pine needles, and a touch of tropical fruit salad. Medium-bodied with a fluffy mouthfeel, Blue Hill Ave finishes semi-dry with a mild and balanced bitterness.

Can. White head. Hazy orange juice color.
Earthy and floral hops. Soft and juicy. Mango, melon, orange peel, and a bit of grapefruit rind.
Medium bodied. A little hop bite/burn. Pretty solid.

Canned on 8/25/21 and enjoyed on 9/5/21. Hazy pale yellow in appearance, lacing retention on the glass. Very citrus-forward scents - lemon juice, white grapefruit. Same goes for the flavors: lemon zest, fresh cut pine, nice lingering bitterness. Fluffy and smooth mouthfeel as with a lot of Trillium DIPAs. This was a good one and a nice change of pace.
