Pouring a hazy, golden yellow, Fuzz Effect's juicy aroma leaps from the glass. Notes of a lush tropical smoothie, fresh-pressed white grape juice, and lychee sorbet race across the palate. Each sip is silky, coating the tongue with uncut hop delight. With just enough sweetness to complement the waves of fruit aromatics, Fuzz Effect finishes gently bitter and highly satisfying.

Pours a hazy light orange with a tiny head and little lacing.
Smells of slightly dank floral hops with a lot of citrus.
Tastes of lightly tart grapefruit, tangy wheat, orange, lemon and honeydew with a lightly bitter and alcohol warm finish.
Medium body and light carbonation. Lush, syrupy and smooth mouthfeel.
This is a bold and balanced brew where the sweet and sour are both assert themselves.

Picked up a four pack of cans at Curtis Liquors in Cohasset, Massachusetts for about twenty two dollars. My eighty seventh brew from these guys. Canned on date of 10/1/25. Fine, albeit expensive beer, just a big fan of the adjuncts.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like lychee, lemon, grapefruit, lime, passionfruit, white grapes, and orange.
I haven't had much hoppy from Trillium lately, due to concerns heard from others that they were slipping. I don't have much to personally say on that, but this specific beer is honestly quite tasty. It's the Trillium I remember, with a soft, juicy, and exotic hop character, along with just a smidge of bitterness and no malt character.
This is light bodied, with no real booziness to it, and a very nice drinkability.
It's nice to return to some of my old favorites every now and then. This is well done for sure.

L - so this is basically Headroom, but with Nelson? Sign me up. Pours a thick, milky yellow that borders on green-ish territory. Kinda like an SST-20 4000K LED for any flashlight nerds out there. Frothy head that doesn't quite dissipate as fast as Trillium beers usually do and leaves a pleasant-looking ring of lacing behind.
S - big, bountiful aromatics. Waves of pithy citrus and white grape deliciousness. Potent and invigorating. Honey, pineapple, and green peach puree. Certainly smells as exciting as Headroom.
T - warm. Like sitting by the fire, but in beer form. Toasty orange marmalade, acidic citrus, a touch of vanilla extract, then full-blown Nelson hops. Pinot Blanc, peppery grapefruit peel, and zesty, tingly pineapple. Intensified bitterness balanced by grainy, pithy sweetness a la white bread and liquified hop jam. Dank and musty. Nelson looks good on this beer.
F - absolutely blows away Headroom in the feels department. Eschews that typical airy emptiness that feels like you're simultaneously swallowing something flat and foamy. Instead we're given silky syrupiness that still doesn't come close to the likes of Tree House, but is a huge improvement over OG Headroom.
O - Nelson can be a polarizing hop with a musty grape character that doesn't do it for everybody, but I personally love the blending of wine and beer. Fuzz Effect gives way to a more elegant maturity that the aging Headroom desperately needs. Still retains that signature bite and punchiness, just with an added vinous earthiness that is to die for. At least I'm dying for it. Glad I gambled and snagged a case.

On first taste, I thought this was a bit over the top on the Nelson hops, but I enjoyed it for exactly the same reason on my second taste -- you can really taste and enjoy the Nelson distinctiveness. Definitely not ordinary.

One of the best new hoppy offerings from Trillium I've had in quite some time. Has a strong white grape character throughout, not too sweet or boozy, and has some killer 'new age' aromas. This isn't the superb Galaxy bombs that Trillium does better than all else, but it's much better than the other Nelson-focused offerings I've had from them
