Collaboration with Weathered Souls Brewing.
Featuring barley smoked on our Primitive Pit smoker over New England maple and oak, Feed Your Soul pours a deep, opaque black. The aroma displays a complexity achieved from the use of a variety of specialty malts. Rich baker's chocolate, caramelized brown sugar, sticky molasses, and freshly-ground coffee lead the way up front. An underlying complementary smoke profile drifts throughout each sip, never stealing the show, but rather adding nuance throughout the glass. Medium-bodied, with mild alcohol warmth capping off the finish, Feed Your Soul is a versatile beer, just as capable of pairing with BBQ on a summer's afternoon as it is slow-sipping on a winter evening.

When I bought this at Trillium about 2 months back, I had no idea the beer was already 2 years old. Not like that's a big deal, especially for an Imperial Stout brewed with smoked malt, but just surprising they didn't advertise that fact on their website. Regardless, this sounds like a great beer to end my night, so let's get into it
Pours a very dark brown with 2 fingers of creamy dark tan head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
The smoke in the nose is rather subdued, but it works nicely with the sweeter notes. I'm picking up on aromas of spent coffee beans, smoked malt, cocoa powder, black cherry, toasted oak, dates, burnt caramel, and molasses
Oh man, everything is dialed way up in taste and I'm loving it. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting smoked malt, cocoa powder, toasted oak, brown sugar, black cherry, molasses, burnt caramel, tobacco, sweet vanilla, and light raisin. The swallow brings notes of peat smoke, charred oak, spent coffee beans, cacao nib, molasses, dark toast, burnt caramel, fig, toasted walnut, light vanilla, and earthy whiskey
A medium full body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes mostly dry with a little boozy heat, which is slightly exaggerated by the smoke
Damn, I enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected to. Big and bold but still goes down easy. Great stuff

Bottle into pint glass. Pours an oily black with minimal tan head. Initial impression is smoky caramel, vanilla, and dark fruits. Mouthfeel is milkshake-thick and creamy. Finish is smooth and slightly sweet, with roasted malts eventually taking the end game. Overall, a delicious Imperial Stout- one that i"d revisit in a heartbeat!

Reminds me of a flat barrel aged utopia like beer. Very smooth and tasty with little aftertaste and suprisingly low alcohol taste.

The color and head are the best part of this beer, sad to say. Pours a medium thickness, dark black with a small dark tan head. That is where the good stops in my opinion. Nose is very metallic and taste was similar to licorice. Disappointed in this offering.

A- Pitch black moonless night sky pour from the 500ml bottle into a becher glass. A one finger tan cap forms with a foamy texture. Small ring leaves spotty lacing.
S- A hint of BBQ smoke and a massive sticky sweet stout base. Really not bursting with aroma but getting some nice roast grains, caramel, dark fruits and chocolate truffles.
T- A bit more realized here and I like how it's a big stout with just a hint of woody bbq smoke. Big caramel, dark chocolate and burnt wood with cherry, raisin, spice, fig, burnt barley, ash, French roast and burnt marshmallow. Fairly boozy.
MF- Thick and luscious with a creamy and chewy beautiful texture. Fairly slick but super smooth and a bit warm in the finish.
Thick and slick beast of a stout with a great chewy and creamy body and a nice balance of super dark grains and light smoke.

Pours a jet black color with just about the most viscous consistency imaginable. A modest head quickly dissipates.
Aromas of dark chocolate and coffee lead the way imparting a nutty and roasty quality. Sweet notes of caramel, maple and brown sugar along with sweet alcohol spices, light smoke and wood.
Sweet for sure, however, it is well balanced as there is a nice bit of roast. Rich flavors of biscuit, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, chocolate fudge and espresso beans. A gentle bitterness throughout with subtle notes of smoked malt and woodsy earthy hops.
Full bodied with a very smooth and viscous mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and the carbonation is gentle.
Definitely a sipper, yet fairly easy to drink. As far as imperial stouts go, it’s right on the money. I would have again.
