Endless features a robust base with extended time in both rum & bourbon barrels thoughtfully married with a portion of freshly brewed imperial stout to seamlessly deliver enduring complexity. Pouring jet black with graceful aromatics of chocolate, dried dark fruit, and woody spirit character, BA Endless beckons from the glass. Finishing sweet & slightly warming, but never cloying, BA Endless exhibits mild bitterness and delightful flavors of vanilla, brown sugar, and molasses.

Sampling a cellar temp 11.2 oz bottle poured into my trusty snifter. the beer pours a jet black color with a fizzy brown head of .5 cm that fades to nothing very quickly after the pour. I do get some legs on my glass like a dark red wine.
The aroma on the beer is rich dark chocolate and cacao with some roasted malt and a bit of dark fruit too. Also hints of fusol alcohol, but no hop character. Smells like a big imperial stout
First sip reveals a big thick body with sticky and oily mouthfeel. very fine gentle spacious carbonation. The beer is a sipper. I do get quite a bit or warmth on the swallow too, to round out the physical traits of this beer.
Flavor is rich and malty with some chocolate, roasted malts and a good bit of dark fruit again. I believe I get plums and raisins. Never any hop content on the flavor profile. Booze is warm, but not spicy or black pepper.
A nice straight forward imperial stout with some nice rich cocoa notes. Definitely a little boozy but at 15.6% that is expected.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours jet black with a very thin layer of dark brown head. The nose is rum, bourbon, chocolate, marshmallow, brown sugar, dark malts, raisins. Super smooth.
The taste is incredible. Brown sugar, rum, bourbon, toffee, chocolate, raisins, port, black licorice, dark roasted malts, vanilla, cherries, and a bit of blueberry. Incredible beer. The alcohol is there - it's a bit boozy, but doesn't burn at all. This is such a well-crafted stout that retains a good fresh imperial stout base. Loving the rum.

Drank from an 11.2 fl oz (330ml) bottle purchased at Trillium Brewing Company, Boston, MA
11/23/21
Served in a tulip
Impressive appearance. The beer poured a viscous and glossy, near pitch black hue, similar to used motor oil. The foreboding looking body was topped by a thin, saddle brown cap of froth that dropped to a fat, lasting collar and swirls atop the liquid. A few dots of lacing trickled down the sides of the glass.
The aroma was amazingly rich and complex. Uber malty and robust. There was a nice mix of sweet, savory, roasty and smoky components in the beer. Both the rum and bourbon barrel notes were front and center. Dark fruits also came through strong. Big raisin and fig presence. Fragrant vanilla notes were also apparent. Good dose of sweet toffee too.
The flavor profile was similar to the nose but boozier. Super malt forward. Nice melding of caramel and roasted malt notes. Moderately sweet. Like in the nose, the barrel character was intense. I definitely picked up on both the rum and bourbon notes. The rum barrels lent the beer some sweet raisin/dark fruit notes and the bourbon barrels gave a nice vanilla quality. Quite boozy, but this was expected given the super high ABV.
As impressive as both the aroma and flavor profile were, the mouthfeel was even better. It was completely full bodied for the style. Uber creamy, slick and smooth, like heavy whipping cream. The liquid contained a fine, moderate effervescence that fluffed up beautifully on the palate.
Non-adjunct imperial stouts are somewhat of a rarity these days, and I am glad to see that Trillium are still making some amazing examples. This beer was insanely big in mouthfeel and immensely complex in both flavor and aroma. $18 is an exceedingly high amount of money to pay for an 11.2 fl oz bottle, but this beer was worth the expense.

Appearance: Pours tar black with a beige film that fades to a ringlet; leggy with speckles
Smell: Rich chocolate syrup, molasses and dried dark fruit aromatics with the barrels adding Bourbon and Rum elements
Taste: Rich, dark chocolate syrup with molasses and dark fruit flavors; the Bourbon barrel is more prominent than the Rum but they play off of each other adding complex oaky sweet tones
Mouthfeel: Really thick with low carbonation; considerable warmth in the gullet
Overall: Trillium's 330ml packaging is perfect for a massive stout like this
