Endless: Vanilla features four times our usual rate of vanilla addition, elevating the sensory experience to otherworldly levels. Oaky rum & bourbon character takes center stage playing gracefully in concert with soaring levels of whole Madagascar vanilla bean on the palate.
Deeply satisfying with a firmly structured body & an enduring bouquet of sweet vanilla cream, cask strength spirit, & chocolate on the nose, Endless: Vanilla is a stout that keeps on giving.

Poured a black body with khaki head. The aroma is basically vanilla although do get some booze and wood. Smooth, almost creamy, well-hidden booze and dangerous sipper although beer is a little one-note and cloying as mostly get nothing but vanilla (strong vanilla). Get hints of chocolate and this beer finishes real easy, but mostly this is just like drinking a vanilla milkshake (sans milk) so don't bother if you don't really like vanilla.

Drank from an 11.2 fl oz (330ml) bottle purchased at Trillium Brewing Company, Boston, MA
Served in a tulip
The beer poured a somewhat murky looking, dark brown - bordering on black - hue. A wispy, saddle brown film topped the liquid, but it quickly transformed into a medium sized collar. Dots of lacing trickled down the sides of the glass.
The aroma was pure vanilla bliss. This reminded me of sticking your nose in a bottle of high quality vanilla extract. Powdered cocoa notes were also apparent. Perhaps some chocolate fudge too. Sweet overall but not excessively so. Some fragrant bourbon and rum barrel notes were also detectable. Hint of booziness.
The flavor profile was also outstanding. Vanilla again came through big time, though it was not quite as intense as in the nose. Loads of powdered cocoa. Rich and fudge like. Malty and robust. Caramel malts were most apparent. Bourbon and rum barrel notes appeared mid palate and intensified slightly on the back end and the finish. Nice amount of lingering caramel-like sweetness, vanilla, and barrel after the swallow.
The mouthfeel was a bit disappointing initially. It was lighter in body than anticipated and seemed a bit fizzy. As the liquid sat, the carbonation settled and the beer felt significantly fuller bodied. Creamy, slick and smooth on the palate.
Endless Vanilla is a straight-up vanilla bomb and drank quite well considering its alcohol prowess. I would definitely put this ahead of Endless Coconut, which was exceedingly boozy, but behind original Endless, which was nearly perfect in its unadulterated form.

Dark brown / black oily appearance with a moist tan head that recedes slowly to a collar, low retention, spotty lacing. Big big vanilla flavor, but not overboard. Thick body, mild carbonation. So well done.

Pours deep brown. Aroma is a nice comboination of sweetness and booziness. Taste is complex and well balanced. Dominated by chocolate brownie, marshmallow & the bourbon and rum flavors. Medium to full mouthfeel. Awesome stout.

Solid vanilla-forward barrel aged offering (especially accentuating the rum barrel aging). Lots of fudge brownie, marshmallow, nougat.... but given the crazy pricing of $20/12oz bottle there is no way I'd buy this again
