Taking a page from the Other Half playbook, we went a little bananas for our latest collab with the New York homies- literally! Buncha' Bananas imperial stout features a lusciously rich base dosed with hundreds of pounds of imported wild Thai bananas hand-roasted in our Canton kitchen by our own JC (@mrtrillium)!
After time spent in the oven, natural sugars present in the bananas caramelized, providing a distinctly expressive candied sweetness to the roasty imperial stout backbone. Notes of freshly baked banana bread and dark chocolate are balanced with a soft, elegant bitterness.

Pours opaque, jet black in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is fudge, dark chocolate and some banana. Heavy body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. I want more banana. Too little banana for the money. Big miss Trillium.

Black opaque oily appearance with a tan head and modest lacing. Fudge, roasted malt, toffee, sugar, and bananas of course. Thick body, moderate carbonation.

Pours oily dark brown black with a large creamy brown foam head that recedes to a thin ring. Smells like fragrant sweet wild Thai bananas, some graham cracker, baked banana bread, chocolate, caramelized sugars, toffee, and earthy hop notes. Tastes really nice like fudgy dark chocolate, smoky dark caramelized sugars, banana, toffee, graham cracker, baked banana bread, with mild earthy hop notes. Feels medium bodied, slick, creamy smooth with low carbonation. Overall a really great imperial stout with wild Thai bananas.
