I'm not sure what an Italian Pilsner is, but the profile most closely resembled the Czech version of the style. Golden color and clear. Moderate head that settles to film but provides a blanketing lace on top and streaks toward the bottom of the glass.

Fluffy, fully malted barley smell. Light sweetness with a kiss of floral hop.

The taste is dryer than the smell but the malt is a steady presence throughout the tasting. The body is spot on for a Pils and the carbonation is slightly elevated, but definitely in the ballpark. The hop is more biting and bitter than most Pilsners but it appears more as a spice than as the dominate flavor. Overall, this is how all lawnmower beers should be, providing a refreshing standard with tremendous taste.
