16.9oz bottle dated something /something/ 22 (difficult to read the printing) poured into a stemless tulip shows a headless dark brown body that leaves a sheen on the glass, sans lacing.
Aromas of almond and peanut are clear and strong, and with the hazelnut, they combine to create a booze influence, whiskey really. Interesting in that this is not the barrel aged version.
Flavors match although hazelnut seems to lead with almond close behind. The peanut adds the most in the feel. I infer a peanut buttery feel from the peanut flavor and full, creamy mouthfeel.
Overall a fine example of the style with additives that make for a pleasing experience.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one quarter inch head. Smell is Bosco. Taste is milk chocolate, white sugar and nuts, almond, walnut. Heavy body, low carbonation, slightly sweet. Good stout...not worth the price, but I do get nuts. Tasty and better than expected but not excellent. Actually needs more nut flavor. This is not as over the top as Southern Tier.

Dark brown appearance with a beige foamy head that sticks around for a while. Definate nut tones albeit maybe not as much as anticipated, with milk chocolate and butterscotch. Medium to full mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.
