From a 16oz can. No date on the can.
This beer looks quite good in my glass. The beer is hazy and murky as expected. It has the color of pineapple juice and has a 2 finger white head. I think the head retention is good, and there's some lacing on the glass.
The aroma is quite tropical, as I would expect. I get the pineapple from the hops. There's some notes of grapefruit in the hops. Very nice citrus notes all around.
The flavor is a bit different than what I was expecting. The pineapple just hits my taste buds full on and never lets go. There's hints of grapefruit that show up here, but faint and don't last long. There's just a ton of bitterness on the back, and it might be a bit more harsh than I would have expected.
The feeling that the bitterness leaves in my throat is a bit harsh. The body is quite full, but that bitterness feeling dominates.
This beer is a pleasure to try, but that harsh bitterness feeling is a bit over the top.

Picked up a four pack of cans at Curtis Liquors in Cohasset, Massachusetts for about twenty two dollars. My seventy first brew from these guys. Very good, way overpriced.

Just like all of their DDH beers, this one is massive and drinks way too easily. Had a glass at their newer Fort Point spot. Tropical fruit juice vibes.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass not sure when it was canned and that is weird because they mark some cans and not others. Pours a hazy milky yellow with a half finger white head that leaves thin lines of lace. 4.25
Aroma peach, honeydew, ripe orange, and apricot. 4.25
Taste peach, honeydew, orange, and apricot. 4.25
Mouthfeel is average, soft carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 7% it goes down very easy. 4
Overall another excellent beer Trillium. I will admit I wanted to be more dazzled. 4.25

16oz can, undated, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a very hazy orange color, golden and straw hues, with a thin finger of taut white head, moderate retention and little lacing. Essentially, the orange juice look. The aroma is nice, super earthy, lots of green grass, pine, grapefruit peel, dank weed, wildflower, pale dough, sweet yeast, tropical fruit, and light booze. The flavors are good, nice peach and berry fruits, orange, pineapple, dank weed, grapefruit peel, pine, raw hop, heavy dough, sweet yeast, and faint alcohol. The mouthfeel is good, heavier medium body, coating and smooth, with a dry bite at the finish.
Verdict: A nice IPA from Trillium. Definitely has the characteristic yeast and dough profile with a nice blend of earthy and bitter hops. Not as distinguishable from others in their lineup but still a very pleasant beer.
