Had a glass at their newer Fort Point location. When I see NZ hops, I go for it. Riwaka is always tasty, so no surprise here. A solid collaboration! Great with food.

Not bad looking but not great, kind of pale with a little head swimming around.
Not getting much bouquet at all, and what I'm getting isn't all that fruity or juicy, kinda damp. Some guy on untapped nailed it - "smells like sesame crackers".
The taste is partially redeeming, or would be if it was billed as a 5 - 6% pale ale, but not a 7% IPA.
The worst part of this beer is the thin watery mouthfeel.
After their first Smashing collab with Cloudwater, I had high anticipations for this one; this was a total let-down. In fact, this is easily the worst Trillium IPA I've ever had.

Collaboration with Cloudwater Brewing on tap at Trillium Boston location. Tons of sweet orange on the nose and taste -- just what you expect from Riwaka hops.
