Wayward Woodchuck highlights a medley of Chinook, Rakau, and Amarillo hops. Sunflower gold in appearance with minimal haze, an aromatic blend of bright citrus, dank resin, and vibrant pine is gracefully grounded by a clean malt presence, and soft, grassy bitterness. Dry and incredibly enjoyable.

A: Poured from the can into a TreeHouse tulip. Body is nearly-clear golden in color, with a 1.5-finger foamy white head that retains well.
S: Nose is not jump-out-the-glass strong, but it's nice. Think lemony citrus and sweeter tropical fruit (ripe melon, mango).
T: I drink NEIPAs so much now that this traditional, or "West Coast"-style IPA felt weird on the first sip. Lemony hops, along with a touch of limes, and some oranges, all fight with some sort of more-Tropical taste - melons, maybe? It works . . . I think.
M: At first I thought "chalky" but I would modify that to say that it "finishes dry". . . . Call it medium in heft, carbonation is modest.
O: I think this is a pretty good IPA. It's nice to change it up every now and again, and this one reminds me to some degree of the beers I drank 10 years ago - though with a unique, Southern Hemisphere hop profile.

Can from the Packie enjoyed at home.
Pours a dark yellow color with moderate haze and a bubbly white head that slowly recedes. Juicy dank pine and hints of citrus and earth with a faint bready maltiness to hold it together. Pretty nice.

Semi hazy. Thought this would be more clarified as it is advertised as a west coast. Floral aroma. Good bitterness but less of the citra and strata coming through. Mild amounts of strawberry but the kind that disappoints. This was alright.

Had on tap. Pours clear, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is earthy, mineral hops and tree Sap. Light body, moderate carbonation, bitter. Solid but have had better.

Advertised as an IPA with Chinook, Rakau, and Amarillo hops. Draft at the brewery. Bartender said it’s a NEIPA but also like a West Coast IPA. Exactly.
Very tasty.
