To help celebrate the 10th anniversary of our buds at @otherhalfnyc we took a crack at one of their own classic IPAs with Ideal Wave! This Citra, Mosaic, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin hopped IPA is packs a punch with lychee, sweet orange, lime zest, and gooseberries. Ideal Wave is a satisfyingly drinkable rendition of OH's perfect marriage with our hand selected Pacific Northwest and New Zealand hops.

This is appearantly the same recipe shared with the Other Half Brewing Co - seems to be some sort of collaboration effort (the name and label are exactly the same except for the brewery name). Why are they collaborating, I couldn't say. For the price of this 4 pack (bought in Manchester VT), I was expecting to be wowed. I was not. The Alchemsit's beers, at 25% less cost, right alongside this beer are superier. That said, it is a very smooth AIPA. I was expecting a fuller bodied, more floral IPA which is generally found at this price point.
