Pours thick inky black thick beer, smaller dark brown head with fair retention, decent lacing, some legs as well
Nose is quite nice, thick fudgey cocoa and dark chocolate, some roasted malt, plenty of fresh roasted coffee, espresso, a bit nutty, mild baking spices, some caramel nougat
Taste thick and lush with tons of roast, roasted malts, coffee, espresso, freshly roasted coffee beans, plenty more fudgey cocoa, chocolate ganache, dark chocolate, also a bit nutty with mild baking spices, mirroring the aroma in a lot of ways, a little coffee milk, mild bitterness from some charred dark malts and mild hops, creme brulee with condensed chocolate milk late, fresh coffee lingering on the semi sweet finish
Mouth is full bod, rich thick creamy lush, med to a bit lower carb, a bit of smooth alcohol
Overall very nice beer, fairly smooth but thick chewy with tons of great coffee, lots of chocolate cocoa etc, other roasted malt characters

Pours black with a dense creamy tan light brown foam head. Smells almost like a Mexican hot chocolate with subtle notes of vanilla, dried fruit, peppers and cinnamon. Tastes like rich robust coffees, dried fruit, dark fruit, black cherry, fig, dates, raisin, thick caramel, toffee, caramelized brown sugar, molasses, dark chocolate, slight creamy condensed milk, vanilla, toasted graham crackery malts, roasty char, peppery baking spice, and earthy herbal grassy piney hops. Feels medium plus bodied, thick and creamy with smooth moderate low carbonation. Overall a real great imperial stout with coffee.

Pours a deep black with a small head of brown bubbles that recede quickly. It has a sense, syrupy mouthfeel coats the through. Chocolate comes through with a small amount of coffee as well. A solid beer, but not my favorite from trillium who always has had a great selection of stouts.
