NO can date
Pours a foamy creamy 1 finger head with good retention, soapy lacing, hazy auburn brown color
Nose is nice, toasted biscuity malts, brown sugar molasses, sweet fruit esters with bananas foster, a bit of orchard fruit, touch of butterscotch possibly diacetyl (OK for the style), creamy doughy wheat
Taste starts with more creamy wheat, a little cracker dough like, into mild toasted biscuity with some brown sugar, hint of toffee but not too sweet, more fruity esters with some pome fruit and banana, little date fig as well, mild phenol spices, a little butterscotch diacetyl, mild bitterness with a touch of a spicy hop, dry soft finish
Mouth is med bod, soft creamy, higher slight prickly carb
Overall pretty good, nice malt/wheat characters, good fruity esters from the yeast and maybe some malt derived as well, enjoyable

Fresh csn from premier Gourmet. Like a malty brown ale with wheat. Decent drinkability. A lot of lasting head. Was fine though nothing to write home about.

Had a single draft at Trillium Brewery in Canton, Massachusetts for about nine dollars. My eighty fifth brew reviewed from these guys. Not my favorite style, but solid.
