Pours thick brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is chocolate and bourbon. Taste is dark chocolate, bourbon and sweet buttery. Feel is amazing, so rich and smooth. Overall it's amazing.

Lowered ABV and lactose in all their new pastry offerings is disappointing. Just not the same quality.

Pours black with a small brown foam head. Smells like buttery toasted almonds, deep dark chocolate, some vanilla, milk sugar, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, almost maple, bourbon barrel, with mild earthy hops. Tastes like rich sweet dark chocolate malt, toasted almonds, some creamy vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, hint of maple, bourbon oak barrel, with mild earthy hops. Feels medium full bodied, creamy with smooth moderate low carbonation. Overall a real nice barrel aged imperial pastry stout.
