The beer pours a white foamy head that dissipates quickly while the beer itself is a perfectly clear golden amber.
The smell is dominated by a bitter grapefruit hop note.
The taste also has the same strong grapefruit hop note with a subtle malt note that meshes well with the hop notes.
The feel is smooth and dry with a dry finish. The body has a medium weight to it and tingling carbonation.
Overall, a pretty good beer and a perfect example of a West Coast Style IPA. Drinking something that hoppy and dry brought me back to the 2010s when that style was all the rage and brought a tear to my eye.

Pours a lightly hazy golden color with a 1/2F head and light lacing.
Smells of grassy and piney hops and tart citrus.
Tastes of a light malt with maybe a bit of wheat. grapefruit and pine resin with a lightly bitter finish.
Medium light body with light carbonation. Crisp, dry mouthfeel.
This a tasty mild mannered hop bomblet.
Want a real bomb? try Turducken.

09/05/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Light amber with 2-finger white frothy head with excellent retention and copious bands of lacing.
S: Red grapefruit, black tea, orange, and pine resin
T: Flavor is bracingly bitter with old school herbal black tea, orange, grapefruit, and pine. Bitterness is high. Alcohol is hidden. Esters are low.
M: Feel is on target for style with medium body and very dry finish.
O: Grand Caravan is an interesting old school take on WCIPA - very bitter and herbal-citrus in character. Would fit in well in 2000 - it is aromatic and flavorful but ending into harsh territory.

Do my eyes deceive me? It's a crystal-clear brew from Trillium, amber in color. Aromatic with tea and grapefruit peel. Highly flavored with a mix of fruity and piney tastes. Black tea with mango sums it up. Sharp and just a little sweet. Finish is dark and dank and heading into astringency. Bold and eye-opening, but not exactly a pleasure. From the 16 oz can that showed up on the West Coast. Dated 01/31/25.

Picked up a four pack of cans at Curtis Liquors in Cohasset, Massachusetts for about twenty two dollars. My eightieth brew from these guys. Very good, very expensive.
