Looks terrible. A sickly, foggy pale yellow. Not a bright yellow. Aroma is generic hops mainly, except for a little lemon note.
Taste is a let down. Lacks any grain character. Hop character is generic except for a bit of citrus. Lacks body, almost watery.
Really disappointing to drink, a let down. It's trying to be a bright hoppy pale ale but it drinks flat in multiple ways. Sickly is really the best way I can describe it.

No date on can, into a wide wine glass.
Pours a hazy light yellow with a little foam, not a ton of lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and lemon with some malt, not crazy aromatic. Flavor is great, very lemon and grapefruit, with some good soft sweet malts. There's a little bitter hit on the finish as well. It's super clean, lightly sweet, and deeply hoppy. Feel is good, very light, super drinkable.
Overall a very tasty pale ale, really easy to drink but with a ton of flavor. It really honors the Trillium legacy of intense hoppiness and complexity while still being a very drinkable ale.

No can date
Pours a fizzy bubbly 1/2 finger head with fair retention, a bit of lacing, hazy cloudy pale light color
Nose starts with a bit of a musty dank hop note, into some mango and tropical fruit, white grape skin and white wine notes, a bit of citrus, grassy as well, very Australasia style hops
Taste brings a bit of flaked proteins creamy base, a hint of chalky mineral as well, then hops with more Australasia style bringing a bit of dank tropical fruit, grassy floral, a touch of white grape skin and lemongrass, mild bitterness, dry finish
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, med prickly carb, a bit creamy
Overall OK, decent enough beer but even with some great hop characters it didn't pop like I expected, almost like it's not as fresh as it should be... if only beer cans had some way to tell me the canned date...

Picked up a four pack of cans at Curtis Liquors in Cohasset, Massachusetts for about eighteen dollars. My seventy seventh brew from these guys. Good, not great.
