Double Goshawk is a new stout we're releasing in collaboration with Horus Aged Ales (Oceanside, CA). Taking inspiration from our Northern Goshawk Imperial Stout, which we released with Horus in the winter of 2020, Double Goshawk features increased additions of hazelnut, vanilla, and coffee which are complemented by a full, creamy body and a medium-to-high sweetness.

Pours pitch black with a dense creamy brown foam head. Smells like fresh filberts, toasty hazelnuts, rich coffee, creamy confectionary vanilla, sweet dark chocolate, caramelized brown sugar, caramel, toffee, roasted malts, hint of dried fruits, and mild earthy hops. Tastes like sweet dense dark chocolate, fresh filberts, toasty hazelnuts, rich coffee, creamy vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, toffee, roasted malts, subtle dried fruit, and mild earthy hop. Feels medium-full bodied, creamy and smooth with moderate low carbonation. Overall a really great imperial stout with vanilla, hazelnuts and coffee.
