Poured a 12 oz can into a pub mug. Canned less than one week ago.
Look: Pours a very solid amber with prominent orange. Very light head and completely clear body.
Taste: Pale dry malt with very mild grassy hops. Notes of staunch mineral water.
Feel: Caramel stickiness after a drink. Very easy to down- this is an aptly named pub ale. It's a good drink if you want to drink all night with your mates. Moderate to light heaviness in the stomach adds to the crush-ability factor. Recommended for fall in Iowa when the sky gets overcast and the weather gets rainy, cold, and overcast.
Overall: Recommended. Easy drinker. Available on tap in Iowa City and at Mickey's, it's a great beer if you're looking for extended sessions without excess booziness. Great for a night out with the mates playing pool or darts.
