Tried directly from the brewery tap. Hazy, pale yellow in color. Nice head. Crisp and bubbly, with a nice bitterness that balances the citrus. I like the way the bitterness lingers a bit. Very good overall.

Can from John’s poured into pint glass at home with Burch Burger. Hazy pale ale, solid drinkability.

12oz can. Poured out a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of orange, grapefruit and toasted caramel. Sweet juicy taste with sweet caramel.

A hazy cloudy beer with well above average flavor. I wouldn’t put it in the Pale Ale category, more of the American iPA category, especially with a 6% ABV. But definitely not as bitter (from my perception) as a normal IPA. But would still say it fits the IPA category more than the Pale Ale category. But non IPA drinkers would still enjoy this beer.

Look: Hazy, translucent amber orange. Minimal head, but lots of lacing.
Smell: Lots of grapefruit, sweet, and bitter, both from the hops and the added grapefruit.
Taste: Bitter, juicy, primarily grapefruit flavors. Simultaneously bitter and sweet, just like a grapefruit. Some herbal spiciness on the end. A slight burn and alcohol taste when going down. Hop flavor is minimal and nuanced here, the grapefruit taste shines through.
Feel: Refreshing and juicy but not light, boozy taste and feel. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A good, fruit-based juicy IPA- grapefruit through and through and loyal to its name. Drink this one cold.

Love all the grapefruit aroma and flavor. Has a solid malt backbone but this one falls short in the hop department. Even as far as a APA goes, I can't distinctively pick out what hops we're working with here. More of the bitterness comes from grapefruit not the hops.

Look - cloudy golden tan color with great head and lacing. I'm guessing unfiltered which is great
Smell - Tropical fruit with a malt backbone
Taste - pale ale... what? Fantastic! Zombie dust is always talked about but this is way better! (Debatable) So fruity... tropical so probably galaxy hops
Feel - medium body and carbonation, great for the beer.
Overall - pale ale that taste like a bold IPA with lots of tropical fruit! Fantastic!!!
