Appearance - The ale poured a brown color with amber hues and a one finger white head.
Smell - The malts came through in the nose with slight coconuts highlights. It was not as sweet as anticipated.
Taste - At the front, the malts were toasted like a dark toasted bread. The sweetness of the coconut was not overpowering, or synthetic like suntan lotion. It was nicely balanced. As always, I wanted a bit more coconut. The malts came through in finish with the coconut largely faded.
Mouthfeel - The body was thin, but slick with lactose sugar.
Overall - Overall, an enjoyable coconut beer.
