Medium bronze in color, the serious hop presence is well balanced with a sweet caramel malt flavor typical of traditional old world style ales. Delicious, crisp, and flavorful aptly describe this brew.

A: The beer is clear very dark amber in color (brown when viewed from afar). It poured with a short beige light head that quickly died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of apples are present in the nose along with notes of caramel malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has some additional wood-like flavors. Neither bitterness nor sweetness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is no crispness.
O: This beer is quite malty for an APA when compared to most of the other beers in the style in this day and age.
